Welcome to the IT blog of Angus Beath. I am a Systems Administrator and I've been working in IT (and being paid for it!) since 1997 (yes I'm old).
I have no real specialty and currently work in a consulting manner for a company in Australia. I provide desktop, server, network and moral support for my clients - from recommendations on whether to deploy services / applications to the cloud, to advice on software packages and building new networks on greenfield sites.
This blog is partly notes on the work I'm doing (so I remember it later) and partly a forum for me to have a rant every now and then.
Please enjoy and if you can, click the occasional ad banner so my blog pays for itself.
Thanks!
